Godbye at PiB's (Photography in Berlin) photobook market

PiB | Photography in Berlin, the best platform about any photography exhibitions and events in Berlin, partnered up with CEPIC congress 2017 (the most important networking and information hub for picture agencies) for their 1st edition of its photobook market and will present a curated selection of photobooks - ranging from publications by well-known publishers to independent publishers and self-published books.

I am delighted that my photobook Godbye was chosen to be presented at its exhibitor’s table during the congress from June 15 – 17.  Come by and say hello at Table #18!

Godbye will also be shown at PiB's 2nd edition at Galerie Franzkowiak in Berlin-Mitte.

Discover a curated selection of photobooks by Berlin based and international artists on June 30 & July 1. Also on display are picks from the permanent photobook selection at the gallery by the experts Thomas & Joe from Bildband Berlin, an excellent photobook store in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.

TEN (ZEHN) opens tonight!

We're THRILLED to open our degree show of the graduating classes from Ostkreuzschule für Weissensee after weeks of preparing at amazing Kühlhaus Berlin tonight! My final work Godbye will be exhibited next to 25 exciting projects. DO NOT MISS!

The tenth graduating class of the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie presents its degree works with approaches ranging from social reportage to fine arts. Over the course of these past ten years, the Ostkreuzschule has offered studies in documentary, journalistic and artistic photography. Some of this year’s graduates travelled to foreign countries to find their themes, while others found theirs close to home. The works from the three graduating classes taught by Ute Mahler, Werner Mahler and Thomas Sandberg explore various different themes addressing questions of identity, transitoriness, the human effects on the environment, departure and new beginnings.

The exhibition is presented at Kühlhaus Berlin [Kreuzberg] over three floors and is accompanied by a book stand and an extensive events program with guided tours and lectures. The graduates and their instructors will be present and available for conversation.

Opening: Friday, October 7, 2016, 19h
Exhibition: October 8 – 18, 2016
+ Framework programme: for more details see the programme on our exhibition website!

Opening hours: Mon - Fri 12-21h, Sat & Sun 12-22h
