As part of the 10th EMOP - European Month of Photography.

We're thrilled to open our degree show of the graduating classes from Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie, Weissensee tonight at Kühlhaus Berlin after weeks of preparing. My final work Godbye will be exhibited next to 25 exciting projects. DO NOT MISS!

The tenth graduating class of the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie presents its degree works with approaches ranging from social reportage to fine arts. Over the course of these past ten years, the Ostkreuzschule has offered studies in documentary, journalistic and artistic photography. Some of this year’s graduates travelled to foreign countries to find their themes, while others found theirs close to home. The works from the three graduating classes taught by Ute Mahler, Werner Mahler and Thomas Sandberg explore various different themes addressing questions of identity, transitoriness, the human effects on the environment, departure and new beginnings.

The exhibition will be presented over three floors at Kühlhaus Berlin. It is accompanied by a book stand and an extensive events program with guided tours and lectures. The graduates and their instructors will be present and available for conversation.

Opening: Friday, October 7, 2016, 19h

+ Framework programme: for more details see the programme on the exhibition website
